VOLUNTEER APPLICATION
Thank you for your interest in learning more about volunteer opportunities within Jameson Camp. Volunteers at Jameson are a vital component to our success. Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups who may be looking for one-time, occasional or long-term commitments.
Volunteer opportunities include:
general office work
maintenance
cleaning
special projects
mentoring
committees
fundraising events
bookkeeping
camper registration
transportation
assist with training
teaching an activity
Spring Service projects:
trail maintenance
spring cleaning cabins and main building
camper registration
basic grounds work
Summer Service projects:
basic grounds work (i.e. cleaning the creek, picking up fallen tree limbs and other debris, planting, etc.)
Fall Service projects:
painting
small construction projects
pool closing
cutting firewood

Summer 2010 Employment Opportunities
Every summer we hire as many as 30 seasonal staff to work with the more than 400 kids we serve in our Summer Camp program. Please explore information on our website about the Summer Camp and access the pages below to decide if you might be the right kind of person to help mentor and guide our children.
To apply to work with the Summer Camp:
- If this is your first time applying to work at Jameson, please complete and return the New Employee Application. Refer to the Joblistings to help you make a decision on position application. You must also have three References completed. Please give this form to the referees listed on your application. References can be turned in after submitting the application. You can turn in the completed reference forms or have your referees send these in.
- If you have previously worked at Jameson, please complete and return the Returning Staff Application. Refer to the Joblistings to help you make a decision on the position to which you apply. References are not needed for returning staff. Returning staff applications will be processed and a first round of decisions will be made at the beginning of March. From there, returning staff decisions will be made on a rolling basis.
Special Events Planner Description: Jameson is looking for an individual interested in a career in events planning and/or public relations to serve as an intern to assist with the planning, promoting and organizing of special events and promotion of the camp as a retreat center. Learn More.
Registrar Internship Description:
Assist camp staff in ensuring a timely and smooth recruitment and registration of campers. Help to maintain positive relations with all camper families to ensure that campers are adequately prepared and informed about the camp. Learn More.
Hospitality and Guest Services
Internship Description:
Provide high quality customer service to individuals/groups renting Jameson facilities. Intern would assist Community Liaison with hospitality duties and in promoting Jameson Camp as a retreat center. Learn More.
