Featured position: Americorps Wellness Coordinator 


The Wellness Coordinator will develop and implement Jameson’s Camp Wellness Program based on previously indicated curriculum and new program needs. The coordinator will also develop or improve methods to evaluate family and camper satisfaction and benefits from programming.

Family Communications and Database Manager

The Family Communications and Database Manager will be responsible for managing Summer Camp Registration, Recruitment, and Marketing efforts in late spring and summer, under the organizational systems and direction of the Program Manager. Also, they will lead efforts in events leading up to summer camp and summer camp check-in/out.

Every summer we hire as many as 35 seasonal staff to work with the more than 500 children we serve in our Summer Camp program.  It is very important to us that we find positive adult mentors equipped with patience, skills, and optimistic attitudes to guide our children in the summer.  Please take a minute to explore Summer Camp information on our website.  Then, decide if you would be a good fit to work at Jameson Camp in the Summer!

For Summer 2015, Returning Staff applications are given priority in December and January. They will be processed and a first round of decisions will be made at the end of January. From there, returning staff decisions will be made on a rolling basis along with all First Time Staff applications.  



Challenge Course Facilitator

Jameson Camp is accepting applications and/or resumes for Challenge Course Facilitators.  Duties include leading groups of all ages through our teambuilding course, climbing wall, and high ropes course.  You can be trained to lead one or all of these aspects of our Challenge Course.  You must be willing to work outdoors (no matter the weather), have experience working with people, attend required trainings, and have sound decision making skills.  This is a part-time, seasonal position.  If you have questions about this or want a full job description contact Brent Cummins at 241-2661 or
