Jameson Environmental Education

A trip to Jameson and the RB Annis Nature Center allows your group to experience the natural world in a fun, creative and educational way. Our nature programs are interactive, hands-on, age-appropriate and aligned with state standards of teaching. Studies have shown that outdoor learning complements traditional classroom learning by providing students with real-world, experiential situations to learn from. We serve dozens of schools and over 5,000 children a year – and would love to work with you to make your experience at Jameson Camp all it can be!

Our Goal

Our goal is to have participants form a greater appreciation of and connection to the natural world around them through immersive education, outside of the classroom. Jameson Camp is committed to building environmental awareness and stewardship to better protect and preserve our resources for generations to come. We strive to achieve this through the numerous programs we have to offer.
