How much does camp cost for my child?

Jameson Camp fees are based on a sliding scale according to household income. Charges range from $80 - $525. Payment plans are available and encouraged. You may break payments up as many times as you need up until the first day of camp.

Jameson Camp accepts cash, money order, or credit or debit (VISA or MasterCard). We cannot accept personal checks. Click here for registration forms.

Are camperships available?

Yes based on household income. You will need to submit financial forms (see forms) and proof of income. Decisions are based on a case by case basis. Click here for more information.

Is my $25 deposit refundable?

No. This deposit marks your child’s spot for one of the camp sessions. If your child cannot attend camp then that spot is lost and cannot be filled, thus eliminating another child from attending. Your deposit is applied towards your camp fees.

Do you work with children with special needs?

Jameson Camp trains its Staff to be equipped to serve youth with minor social, emotional, and behavioral challenges (i.e. high functioning autism, bipolar, ADHD, etc). Jameson Camp programming is geared toward a wide range of youth, benefiting a child who is shy or simply would benefit from an outdoor camp program to those with diagnosed challenges.

What will my child do at camp? What activities are available?

At Jameson we offer a traditional camp experience for children attending camp. This includes cooking, archery, sports, swimming, arts and crafts, nature study, camp-outs, team building, low and high ropes course and a climbing wall. Campers get to choose the activities they wish to participate in. See our programs and activities.

Who do you hire as a staff member?

The staff of thirty-five summer counselors allows each child to receive personal attention and encouragement. Jameson's summer staff are rigorously trained to work with the campers and often pursue paths in Education, Social Work or Psychology. Counselors are hired from various areas across the United States and the world so the diversity among the staff exposes campers to different cultural traditions and habits, geography facts, numerous languages and interesting cuisines. The campers are constantly surrounded by their counselors who serve as role models and mentors. Over the past few years, the summer staff base has been built, and over half of our staff returned for a second, third, fourth, or fifth time this summer. Because of this, Jameson is better equipped to help the children we serve with more positive outcomes, and the ability to initiate more unique and creative programming.
