SUMMER CAMP!

Jameson Camp enriches the lives of Indiana youth
by inspiring them to discover their strengths.
Jameson Camp, located on the west side of Indianapolis, will be celebrating 82 years of camping this summer! We offer a residential camping program with a focus on character development for youth ages 7 to 17.
Jameson will serve any child who might benefit from a camping program which values diversity by creating a rich environment of endless opportunities for growth and personal development. Our staff is also trained to serve children with minor social and/or emotional challenges and children with limited financial resources. In order to best serve our families, program fees are based on the family’s income. We work to make it possible for any child to be able to attend camp.
Jameson Camp offers activities such as art expressions, recreation, fishing, outdoor education, campouts, culinary arts, and much more (click here for a list of things to do at camp). These activities give special attention to helping children develop skills so they will be more successful. Our counselors strive to help every child discover his or her unique gifts and abilities.
IN ADDITION TO OUR TRADITIONAL SESSIONS, JAMESON OFFERS THREE SPECIALTY CAMPS:
· For campers ages 7 to 9, JC Juniors Camp is a five day / four night program that provides a great way for our first-time campers to have a taste of the camping experience.
· For campers ages 10 to 13, the Wellness Camp is a six day / five night camping program that focuses
on all-around wellness, including healthy eating, exercise, and positive choices in daily living.
· For campers ages 7-17 impacted by HIV/AIDS, Tataya Mato is an eight day / seven night camping program. This program not only offers the traditional camping experience but also provides a safe environment for children to explore the challenges they face each day with HIV/AIDS in their lives.
