Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for a great community service project for the members of your organization to participate in? Need service hours for graduation or for your job? Just want to help make a difference by bettering the lives of children? Volunteers at Jameson are a vital component to our success, and opportunities are available for individuals and groups who may be looking for one-time, occasional or long-term commitments.
Volunteer Year-Round Opportunities include:
- Assisting with general office work
- Maintenance and cleaning of grounds and facilities
- Serving on an committee: fundraising, marketing, or program
- Being a part of a fundraising event or special project
There are also many seasonal volunteer opportunities for groups or individuals which include:
- Cleaning cabins and main building
- Basic grounds work (cleaning debris from areas of camp)
- Painting
- Small construction projects
- Pool Closing (August)
- Cutting Firewood
- Assisting with camper registration (Spring, Summer months)
- Teaching an activity to counselors/campers or performing a special talent (Summer)
- Assisting with camper check-ins and check-outs (Sunday afternoon & Friday afternoon)
Big Projects for Groups, Scout Troops
- Restoration Project
- Build bridges
- Trail building and maintenance

*If you or your organization is looking to provide a large group of people to assist on a project at Jameson Camp please notify Brad at (317) 241-2661 or brad@jamesoncamp.org at least ONE month in advance of proposed date. This will ensure that there is a task large enough to accommodate your entire group.
