For nearly 90 years, Jameson Camp has impacted the lives of young people through its award-winning camp experience, designed to help campers develop self-respect and confidence as well as respect for others and the world around them. Today, our mission is to enrich the lives of Indiana youth by inspiring them to discover their strengths.
Each year, approximately 75% of our campers reside in households below the poverty level and over half struggle with a social, emotional, or behavioral challenge. To keep camp affordable for these families, Jameson Camp offers programming fees on a sliding scale, based on household income. We also charge only minimal fees for our Outdoor Education and Youth Leadership activities. This means we rely on generous community partners, volunteers, and donors to support our programs. We are well-versed in stretching our dollars and utilizing volunteers so that we can provide the highest quality program possible.
