Inquiry for Additional Financial Assistance

We aim to provide a week of camp to every young person interested in attending and will do everything we can to eliminate cost as a barrier to participation. If the sliding-scale financial assistance does not meet your family’s needs, please complete the form below and we will be in touch with you regarding additional financial assistance. Please know our goal is not to be invasive or cumbersome, just to collect enough information to match your camper with the correct scholarship(s).

You’ll need to complete your camper’s registration online and pay the $40 deposit for them to be registered. In many cases, we can find full scholarships so you will not be required to pay anything beyond the $40 deposit.

Documentation showing your household income and that the campers are your financial responsibility will be required. We’ll let you know what is needed depending on the scholarship awarded.

Scholarship recipients may be asked to respond to a request for a story about their camp experience after camp. Stories like these are shared with donors, and don’t include your camper’s full name. Responding to this request helps ensure scholarships are available in the future. We appreciate your assistance with this.

Please reach out to jennifer@jamesoncamp.org with any questions.

Normally, your household size is the size of your household that you would report on your federal tax return. If you do not file a federal tax return or are uncertain what your tax household size would be include yourself, your spouse, if married, and your children under age 19 (biological, adopted, step).
Your household's annual adjusted gross income (AGI) is found on line 11 of your tax return, or by multiplying your monthly income by 12. This is taxable income that would be reported on your federal tax return plus Social Security retirement or Social Security Disability income.
In many cases, we can find full scholarships so you will not be required to pay anything beyond the $40 deposit. We realize everyone's situation is unique and some families may be able to pay more than the deposit but less than the sliding scale rate. Please enter the amount between $40 and $348 that works best for your family.
